How does commissioning a piece work?
Adam is accustomed to working with Clients to create art to fit their home, work or commercial space.
Working on pieces which share a variety of places, from wall hung creations to melding acoustic sound application with art. The creative process works in the same way regardless of who we work with.
Step One of Commissioning a Piece
Clients’ usually give a colour palette and size.
From here Adam creates a preliminary sketch of how he envisions the finished piece which Adam discussed with the Client.
Step Two of Commissioning a Piece
Adam starts creating a rough layout and materials. Once the layout and materials have been selected, a picture of this is shared with the Client, to ensure the vision of Client and artist is being met.
Step Three of Commissioning a Piece
Adam shares step by step photographs as the art evolves from rough composition to applied textures to keep the Client updated with the journey and progress of the piece.
Step Four of Commissioning a Piece
Prior to completion, Adam sends the Client one final photograph to ensure there are no final comments before completion. The piece is then carefully delivered to the Client for them to enjoy for years to come.
How long do commission pieces take?
